Holding Slovenske elektrarne 13th member of Montenegrin power exchange market

Holding Slovenske elektrarne d.o.o. (HSE), a company based in Ljubljana, has successfully ended the registration process on Montenegrin power exchange market and became thirteenth in total, and sixth foreign, MEPX market member.

HSE Group is one of the two largest energy companies in Slovenia and the largest producer and trader in electricity on the wholesale market in Slovenia. The company’s operations are based on the sales and trade in electricity and thermal energy, CO2 emission coupons, certificates of origin and other renewable energy certificates, optimisation of the HSE Group production, provision of ancillary services needed for the functioning of the electricity system and management and implementation of energy projects. With its balanced production portfolio, HSE represents a key pillar of reliability of electricity supply in Slovenia, provision of stability of the functioning of the power system and achieving Slovenia’s objectives in the field of renewable energy sources.
