Elektroprivreda Srbije becomes a new member of Montenegrin power exchange market

Public Enterprise Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS), a company based in Belgrade, has successfully completed the registration process on Montenegrin power exchange market and became eleventh member of MEPX markets in total, and fifth foreign member.

EPS is the largest power producer in Serbia, whose main activities include power generation, supply and trade. EPS is fully committed to achieving its mission, which is to securely supply customers with electricity, under the most favo​urable market conditions, with continuous service quality improvement, promoting environmental awareness and increasing the well-being of the community in which it operates. Total installed capacity of power plants owned by EPS amounts to over 7300 MW, while annual power generation of EPS for the last year amounted to almost 34000 GWh. EPS strives to be a socially responsible, market-oriented and profitable company, competitive in the European market and with significant influence in the region, recognized as a reliable partner to national and international companies.
