The first Montenegrin Power Exchange (MEPX) educational workshop “Development and operation of power exchange market in Montenegro” was successfully held in Podgorica on Friday, 20 June 2025.

The attendees of the workshop had the opportunity to actively participate in the discussion, acquire new knowledge and expand their views on power exchange market in Montenegro, while eminent lecturers from MEPX and COTEE guided them through various topics:

• introduction to power exchange market in Montenegro
• registration of participants on Montenegrin power market, registration on power exchange market
• long-term market
• day-ahead market
• clearing and settlement on day-ahead market
• analysis of purchase/sale of electricity from privileged producers and guarantees of origin of RES produced electricity.
