We are pleased to announce that Montenegrin Power Exchange (MEPX) has been granted an observer status at Market Coupling Steering Committee (MCSC), thus making another important step towards market coupling of Montenegrin day-ahead market with SDAC, along with market coupling of future Montenegrin intraday market with SIDC.

MCSC as a governance structure includes representatives of all NEMOs and TSOs involved in SDAC and SIDC projects. This committee aims at better and more efficient cooperation, further coordination between NEMOs and TSOs as well as creation of faster decision-making mechanism towards a truly integrated European electricity market. The observer status for MEPX represents an exceptional opportunity to create a basis for future work on market coupling activities, as well as to contribute to further work success of this committee and achievement of final common goal.
