Interkonekcija d.o.o., a company based in Podgorica, has successfully completed the registration process on Montenegrin power exchange market and became thirty-third MEPX market member.

Interkonekcija was founded in early 2021 as the first Montenegrin company engaged in electricity and capacity trading, as well as consulting for renewable energy source construction. Along with Montenegro, they are currently trading on markets in Serbia and Hungary. Their goal is to become off-takers and utilize the potential of the well-connected Montenegrin power transmission system with neighbouring systems to optimize balancing and revenue.
