Montenegrin Power Exchange Ltd. was established by CGES, COTEE and EPCG with the intention of establishing a wholesale organized power market in the form of an electronic trading platform.

Montenegrin Power Exchange, as the central counter-party between the seller and the buyer of electricity, assumes the risks of buying and selling electricity within the achieved purchase and sale transactions formed on the day-ahead market.

The overall goal is to create new business opportunities for market members, better efficiency, more competitive prices, greater security, quality and standard of services.

The market will be anonymous, transparent, optional and accessible to all companies and partners who meet the regulations for market participation.
