Hrvatska elektroprivreda d.d a company based in Zagreb, has successfully completed the registration process on Montenegrin power exchange market and became the third foreign member, and eighth member in total of MEPX markets.
HEP is a leader in electricity generation and supply in Croatia and a part of HEP Group. They have been active in electricity generation, supply and distribution for more than one century, and in the last few decades they added distribution and supply of heat energy and natural gas to their company portfolio. Total installed capacities of HEP for power generation amount to around 4000 MW, including 7 TPPs and more than 20 HPPs, as well as many power plants from renewable energy sources. Some of strategic objectives of HEP include: ownership of various sources of electricity, increase of RES share in total installed capacity, optimization and improvement of business processes, active participation on wholesale and retail markets through definition and creation of new products and services, as well as cooperation with all stakeholders.
